Today I was reading some blog posts over Virtualization and came across an Excellent blog post series "VMware or Microsoft?" written by Keith Mayer Senior Technical Evangelist at Microsoft on his TechNet blog KeithMayer.com - IT Pros ROCK!


Among multiple blog posts in the series the most vital one for us to check is the Comparison between the new VMware vSphere 5.5 and Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper -V, Keith has compared both of the products under various categories in terms of  Licensing, Scalability, High Availability, Storage etc. to provide us some insight on the benefits of using either of the products and with this rich information we can evaluate and choose the appropriate one to adopt for the Environment.
