Copilot Cowork Is Here

Copilot just got a great upgrade. Microsoft Copilot Cowork is now live via the Frontier program, and it fundamentally changes what AI can do at work — moving from answering questions to actually getting things done for you.

What makes Cowork different?

Cowork carries out tasks across your Microsoft 365 environment. Rather than describing what you could do, it does the work — sending emails, scheduling meetings, creating documents, posting in Teams, and managing your calendar. You stay in control and approve actions before they happen.

What can it do?

  • 📧 Communicate — draft and send emails, post Teams updates, manage your inbox
  • 📄 Create documents — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDFs, all from a simple prompt
  • 🗓️ Manage your calendar — schedule meetings, resolve conflicts, and start your day with a briefing
  • 🔍 Deep research — synthesize information across web and work sources into comprehensive reports
  • ⚙️ Automate recurring tasks — run prompts on a schedule so routine work happens automatically

You're always in control. Cowork asks for your permission before taking sensitive actions, with a risk level indicator for medium and high risk actions. You can pause, steer, or cancel at any time.

Already proving its value. Organizations like Capital Group had early access to Copilot Cowork and report already seeing its value — from planning, scheduling, and creating deliverables to preparing for executive reviews.

Enterprise-ready by design. Cowork operates on enterprise data and within security and risk boundaries, so organizations can experiment, learn, and scale with confidence
